"Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. --As long as you remember her, you are not alone." -- Madoka Magica
I had made this sketch over a year ago, and I felt it was time to finally finish it up. Now, I am very glad I waited to work on it. I feel I have more knowledge than I did a year ago to make this picture what it deserved to be.
The song which inspired this piece is called 'Sagitta Luminis', which translates to Arrow of Light - you can listen to it on the Madoka OST. It is a song that really lifts the spirit, even without it being attached to such an impacting philosophical story. It stands on it's own as one of my favourite pieces of music. It gives a feeling of lightness, calmness - being surrounded by good things. I think that this song is to us, what the memory of Madoka is to Homura.
It is the reminder that we exist and somewhere, directly or indirectly, someone is working as hard as they can to bring us happiness. Wow. I think of weird things like this while working on art, ha ha, but it makes it more enjoyable. I hope it makes you smile!

This is really gorgeous, hun. <3 Sorry I haven't been around! Things have been manic and I've just not really had much of a desire to get on dA after everything else! Great to see your art is getting more and more wonderful every time I pop on. <3
