So, after years of promising a Colouring Tutorial, here it is, ha ha. I know it's taken me a while, but it's hard to put into words how I do my process. But, here it is, I hope it's understandable and helpful to you. I did my best to explain and document, but, who knows if I did it properly.
Other tutorials that really helped me can be found below. Please give them a read, I firmly believe that exposing yourself to more techniques is the best way to discover your own style.

Hey! I'm curious in particular to that "marquee" trick used to easily apply flats. Does that work in photoshop as well, by any chance?
Love how "candy-like" your work is, by the way. My only gripe is that her left thigh looks a little bruised due to the purple and pink shadows. Perhaps subtly mixing in some green or something might help? Not a big deal though.
